I need my item quickly or by a certain date, is there anything you can do?

If you need your item URGENTLY or by a particular date, please CONTACT ME AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER TO LET ME KNOW YOU NEED IT QUICKLY or leave note to shop at checkout or email caroline@girlgotbag.com or use the contact tab on the left hand side of the screen. I will try my best to fulfil your requirements.

I have placed an order how long will it take to process my order?
My items are all handmade and are ready to ship in 1- 3 business days. Items are normally shipped in 2 business days Monday to Friday. Please note this may be longer during busy periods, such as Christmas or wedding season (March to August)

Are your items handmade?
Yes I design, cut and sew all my bags and purses. 

Do you sell your items anywhere else?
I also sell my items in my Etsy shop girl got bag.  

What days do you ship orders?
Items are shipped during business hours Monday to Friday.

How can I pay and is it secure?
You can pay using debit and credit cards and via paypal, choose which method you would like to pay at checkout. Payment details are transferred on a private and secure connection.

Do you offer FREE SHIPPING?
Yes I do, shipping is FREE to buyers based in the United Kingdom. Items are sent using Royal Mail First Class or First Class Signed For mail. 

Can I get my order delivered next working day?
If you are based in the United Kingdom, please select Next working day option on the shipping options menu at checkout. Please note next day delivery only applies to delivery time and doesn't include the time needed to process your order. 

Do you share my personal details with anyone else?
No I do not. I only use the information you provide to complete your order. 

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes I ship worldwide from the United Kingdom.

Do you have a physical bricks and mortar shop that I can visit?
No I only sell my items online through my own website and Etsy shop.

How will I know my order has been shipped?
Email notification will be emailed to the email address supplied to let you know its on its way.

I live in the United Kingdom when will my item be delivered?
Delivery within the United Kingdom usually takes 1- 2 business days after you have received notification that it has been shipped.

I live in Europe when will my item be delivered?
If you are based in an non EU European country, most orders are delivered within 15 business days. This timescale is for guidance only and not a guarantee of when it will be delivered.

If you are based in an EU country, please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive. Since Brexit, I am finding that the delivery of some items is not as quick as it used to be and some items are held at customs for lengthy periods of time. The average time for delivery to the EU is around 20 days from despatch. Please be aware that some customers may have to pay a customs fee, if ordering outside the United Kingdom. If you wish to pay taxes prior to delivery, please order from my Etsy shop, which is registered for IOSS.

Every Summer and at certain points of the year, I will be based in Ireland (an EU member country) and if possible, I recommend EU member countries place their orders during this time if at all possible.

Please be aware I am not responsible for any delays as a result of customs, postal strikes or busy postal periods.

I live in the United States, Canada, Australia, Rest of World when will my item be delivered?
Delivery to Rest of World normally  takes 7-10 business days after you have received notification that it has been shipped. This delivery time is only a guide and not a guarantee of when your item will be delivered. Delivery can take longer depending on customs, time of year and efficiency of local delivery networks. Please be aware I am not responsible for any delays as a result of customs, postal strikes or busy postal periods.

I am based in the United Kingdom and I have not received my order?
Delivery within the United Kingdom usually takes 1- 2 business days after you have received notification that it has been shipped. If you have not received your order after 12 business days please contact me at caroline@girlgotbag.com or via the contact tab to resolve.

I am based in Europe and I have not received my order?
Delivery to Europe normally takes around 20 days after you have received notification that your item has been shipped. If you still have not received your order after 30 days please contact me at caroline@girlgotbag.com or via the contact tab to resolve. 

I am based outside Europe (Rest of World) and I have not received my order?
Delivery to the rest of the world normally takes 7-15 business days after you have received notification your item has been shipped. If you have still not received your item after 40 business days please contact me at caroline@girlgotbag.com or via the contact tab to resolve. 

I am based outside the United Kingdom will I have to pay customs or import taxes on my item?

Those based outside the United Kingdom may be charged taxes or custom fees at point of delivery. Outside the EU and Rest of World may have to pay additional taxes or duty. The rules and fees are different for each region or country and I have no control over them. Items being shipped to Europe and Rest of World have a declarations slip on the exterior of the package stating the item being sent, the quantity and its value. In certain cases a customs and or import taxes may be charged. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.

Can I cancel my order?
I don't normally accept order cancellations. However, if you have an issue after placing an order please contact me as soon as possible at caroline@girlgotbag.com or via the contact or message us tab.

Can I return/exchange my item?
Items can be returned/exchanged providing they are unused and in their original condition and packaging. Please contact me as soon as possible and within 30 days if you wish to return or exchange an item. Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. Payment for a returned item will be processed as soon as possible and only after the item has been satisfactorily inspected. 

Please note an exchange is at the discretion of Girl Got Bag and a request can be refused. Buyers have 30 days from date of delivery to exchange an item. Only one exchange per transaction is permitted.

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and repackaged carefully to prevent damage in transit. If the item is not returned in its original condition the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

My item is damaged or broken what do I do?
In the unlikely event of you item being damaged or broken please contact me as soon as possible at caroline@girlgotbag.com or via the contact page detailing what the issue is and what you action you would like to take.  

Resale of Items

I am aware that some buyers purchase my plain bags to add art or decorate them in some way before selling them on for profit. Please note that my items are not intended to be used in this way and sold on. Please be aware that I am not in any way responsible or liable for any loss of value, should in the item be faulty or be returned. If you are selling them on to individuals, the contract is between yourself and the buyer.
